This is a work placement based course which may take up to 6 months to complete. It is suitable for people who would like to become an apprentice but feel that they don’t have the experience and personal skills to apply. You will build up a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate your competence and knowledge across a range of mandatory and optional units. Examples of units include: ‘Career planning and making applications, Undertaking work placement, Using email, Using the Internet and Word Processing software. Other elements of the traineeship will include Functional Skills if appropriate.
