M1258CA: The aim of the course is to develop communication skills in basic, practical situations for beginners who intend to use the Spanish language on holiday or for work. The main emphasis will be on speaking and listening, but the course will also develop reading and writing skills. The structure of the language is introduced through everyday topics and practical situations. Topics could include: introducing yourself and other people, giving personal information, ordering food and drink, booking a room, shopping, and asking for/giving directions.
