Learners on this course have the opportunity to follow one of three pathways offers: law, forensics, outdoor and sport. Contents include: Land based outdoor activities Water based outdoor activities Government policies and the public services Leadership and teamwork Physical preparation, health and lifestyle Fitness testing and training for the services Understanding discipline Citizenship, diversity and the public services Crime and its effect Management of major incidents Learners can enjoy a range of outdoor activities such as abseiling, canoeing, rock climbing, high rope and sailing during a 5 day residential at an outdoor pursuit centre.
