Vehicle Electrics - Fault Finding

These courses are designed to run from basic electrics up to understanding advanced vehicle systems including multiplexing and advanced diagnostics. All courses will include a mix of in class and online theory, experimentation and practical work on a vehicle. • Basic Electrics â€" to include terminology, symbols, series and parallel circuits, calculating circuit values, basic relay control systems and an investigation into starting & charging systems • Intermediate Electrics â€" to include complex relay control systems, electronic control systems, sensor and actuator operation and an investigation into engine management and auxiliary electrical systems • Electrical Diagnostics â€" Basic electrical diagnostics to include the use of scanners, multi-meters and amp clamps
