This course is designed for people who would like to gain employment in the electrical installation industry. The course combines both practical training along with electrical theory. The practical work is carried out in our own training workshop to the necessary industrial standards. This course is a requirement of the Modern Apprenticeship and it provides the underpinning knowledge element of the NVQ3 Installing Electrotechnical Systems. Candidates therefore who successfully complete this course are in a strong position when seeking an apprenticeship. The course covers the following; Core Units - Working effectively and safely in an electrotechnical environment (stage 1), Principles of electrotechnology (stage 1), Application of Health and Safety and Electrical principles (stage 2). Occupational Unit - Installation (Buildings and Structures).
