The Swindon School of Business programme is aimed at a wide range of students interested in careers such as accountancy, sales and marketing, personnel, retailing, as well as general business opportunities. This study programme is a practical, work-related course where you will learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. The course is designed to appeal to both full-time students in a career in business and to those who already have experience of working in the sector. The four core units give students an introduction to and understanding of the business environment, management and communication - all fundamental to the success of business organisations. Business employers who are able to communicate effectively both verbally and using electronic communication methods. The course provides opportunities for students to develop these as they progress through the course via presentations and discussions where they can express their opinions, students are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning and achievement, taking into account industry standards for behaviour and performance.
