The VTCT Level 4 Diploma in Advanced Beauty Therapy is a comprehensive and advanced vocationally related qualification. This qualification will enable students to develop a comprehensive knowledge and understanding and the advanced skills to work as an advanced beauty therapist. Specifically, learners will explore the physiology of ageing, the chemistry of hair and beauty products and relevant dermatology and microbiology for employment as an advanced beauty therapist. Students will also develop the skills to apply micro-dermabrasion, apply laser and light treatments for hair removal and skin rejuvenation. The management of Health & Safety, Quality management and salon management will also be covered.
