Course Content - Double AS You will study 6 units: 1. Promoting Quality Care - examined unit2. Communication in Care Settings - coursework unit3. Promoting Good Health - coursework units4. Caring for People with Additional Needs - coursework unit5. Early Years Care and Education - coursework unit6. Caring for Older People - examined unit In year 2 you will study 6 further units covering topics such as mental health, anatomy and physiology, child development, understanding human behaviour (Psychology) research methods and care practice. Work Experience In addition to classroom teaching and coursework there will also be a total of 3 weeks work experience during the 2 years in a range of care settings working with various client groups. This is invaluable in relation to helping you make an informed career choice and supports your university application.
