The AS qualification will consist of two units: Unit 1: Oral examinationUnit 2: Listening, reading and writing. The A2 qualification will comprise an additional two units: Unit 3: Oral examinationUnit 4: Translation and writing Both at AS and A2 students will be able to acquire advanced linguistic skills by means of a topic-based approach to the study of the language. They will have the opportunity to study the relevant issues of the day, which affect Italy and Italians. These will include: health, drugs, organised crime, the environment, the European dimension, the media, politics and current affairs.

Students will have the opportunity to write essays, letters and reports as well as doing listening and reading comprehension.
