3D Wire and Clay Work

The course is designed to introduce you to three dimensional work, developing wire frame structures in combination with air dried clay - resulting in sculpture based pieces which can be painted once dry., You will explore and develop techniques to create fun 3D animals, human based figures or heads as well as individual ideas. Emphasis will be placed on creating sturdy structures that can hold the weight of the clay., This course is informative, challenging and fun. Some projects may require some extra home work to complete stages. The use of air dry clay means that students can continue to use the material at home, or after the course, without the need for requiring expensive equipment.,
