This 'Life Drawing - Summer School' course in Maidstone is designed to provide students with the opportunity to further develop aspects of life drawing, working from an experienced life model. Students will experience the specific skill, technique or genre at a level to suit their requirements. , , These three days will provide an interesting and enjoyable life drawing course in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Students may also wish to paint in a medium of their choice, for part or all of the course and assistance will be given to develop their skills. , , These are mainly practical courses where a degree of manual dexterity is required.

Entry requirements

Students need to provide their own materials and these will vary in cost according to the course requirements., , Some centres have their own shops where you are able to buy some materials at competitive prices. Please bring any materials and equipment you have that might be appropriate to the course. All students should bring a sketchbook of at least A4 size, preferably with a hard cover, ring bound and containing good quality cartridge paper and a selection of pencils-B to 4B to the first class. If you are a new student and have no materials please wait for your tutor's advice on what to buy, other than sketchbook mentioned above.
