On this Art course you will look at a range of watercolour techniques, styles and processes. You will experience a broad cross-section of the subject, whilst also being encouraged to explore your own personal stylistic choices with tutor support. Sessions will be mostly tutor led, with clear demonstrations given throughout. This course if for those who have some experience of watercolours already and wish to expand their skill and knowledge base further. , By the end of the course you should be able to:, Use tone to create convincing 3D form, Depict trees using at least 3 different techniques, Create depth in a landscape through tone and atmospheric perspective, Work in layers to achieve richness of colour, Be aware of and work to relevant Health and Safety guidelines, , , Students who have completed the Beginners course or have some experience of painting in watercolour., It is important to note that art courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity. If you need to bring a carer with you, or be accompanied by another adult please ask to speak to the Programme Manager before you enrol.

All students should bring an A4 sketchbook of good quality cartridge paper, preferably with a hard cover and ring bound and a variety of pencils.
