This course is for those wanting to continue their recorder studies and improve their recorder technique and musical interpretation. The course will consist of mainly ensemble playing with solo pieces set for students home study. By the end of the course students will be able to :, 1) Play simple recorder ensemble pieces in 3 or 4 parts with other members of the group, 2) Play pieces confidently in time with other members of the group, 3) Be able to hold their own part as part of the ensemble, 4) Work on improving technique through solo study homework with tutor help., Descant and treble recorders accommodated. Suitable for players with at least a year's experience. , This course is for beginners or those with some experience of playing the recorder, even if it was many years ago!
