Do you want to speak French more fluently and build on your conversational skills as well as be able to gain a deeper cultural understanding? Then this French Intermediate Plus Summer School course is for you. This 8 week French course in Gravesend follows on from our French Intermediate Plus course and is for anyone who wants to speak more confidently in less predictable situations. , , By the end of the course, successful students should be able to:, • Communicate on a wider range of topics and be able to extract details accurately from various sources, • Obtain information from more complex texts and deal with topics of a familiar/unfamiliar nature with the help of a dictionary, • Produce text of varying length and for varying purposes using a combination of simple and more complex sentences, • Use the conditional tense, • Use the subjunctive mood, • Use the passive voice, • Start to use colloquial expressions and appropriate style of language, • Extract information by listening to excerpts from various sources such as conversations, news reports and songs., , The tutor will cover topics requested by the students. This course is suitable for those who have done French toa higher Intermediate level and have the knowledge of the tenses and basic structure of the language and need fluency and conversation practice.
