Upholstery - Workshop

This 2 day practical Upholstery course is for students to develop upholstery skills and work on project of their own choice. Learn how to use bridal loops, webbing, springing, blind stitching, and horse hair within a small first project. Demonstrations on general techniques will be given throughout the course and relevant to the students' projects.

Entry requirements

Please bring a dining chair or stool to your first class, plus a 4oz tack hammer, small pair of pliers, scissors, needle and cotton, pen and notebook. Please ask before buying large pieces of furniture as there is limited storage space available in the centre and we cannot accommodate sofas or settees and this is a two day course. Apart from pens and notebooks please do not buy books or equipment before the start of the course. A small charge is made for tacks and string.
