UPDATED 20170119 11:44:28

Practising yoga regularly can help you: maintain and/or increase flexibility and mobility; increase your energy levels; improve your balance; improve your strength; tone your body; cope better with stress; focus your mind; relax., We will cover basic yoga postures, breathing techniques and relaxation. Beginners will become familiar with poses and their benefits, and more experienced students will be able to develop their yoga practice. Students will be encouraged to practise at home using the postures and breathing techniques they learn, in order to maximise the benefits. Your teacher will modify the postures as applicable to your needs and you will learn how to do this safely for yourself. Students of all ages with little or no experience of yoga. Pregnant students should not attend classes until they are at least 14 weeks pregnant, and we would recommend that you attend a yoga course specifically designed for pregnant women. We advise anyone with a pre-existing medical condition to seek advice from their GP before exercising.
