This 'Watercolour - Beginners and Improvers' course in Maidstone will provide an opportunity for students to learn, apply and extend skills and techniques. There is a structured but relaxed learning plan which will identify your individual needs to help you reach your goals as you continue to practise and develop skills, working from observation and imagination, including keeping a sketchbook and applying the formal elements of art and design. Students of all levels are welcome, including complete beginners., , It is important to note that art courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity for you to participate fully and get the most out of the course.

Entry requirements

If you are a new student and have no materials please wait for your tutor's advice on what to buy. However, all students should bring an A4 sketchbook of good quality cartridge paper, preferably with a hard cover and ring bound and a variety of pencils. You will need to provide your own materials and these will vary in cost according to the course requirements. , , Some of our centres have their own 'shops' where you are able to buy things at competitive prices.
