The length of the course is 10 weeks.The course aims to increase confidence and skills in the preparation for employment.The course is for adults with autism and associated conditions.You will learn to identify strengths skills and knowledge. Set an action plan and to start overcoming barriers to finding employment. Better understand self needs and identify appropriate opportunities to help increase skills and confidence with the ultimate goal of progressing towards paid work.You do not need any knowledge skills or prior qualifications.You will not gain any qualifications.You will learn in a small group through group activities discussions and visits to the local community. This course could lead to a progression towards employment.You will not have to do any studying at home. Sometimes you will be asked to think about tasks at home but this depends on individual learners.If you need any extra help on the course then We have a specialist tutor delivering the course as well as a support staff member in the sessions.
