The course is for anyone wishing to improve their ICT skills for work or home.You will learn: " To identify the ICT requirements needed to solve a straightforward task and apply your knowledge and understanding to produce an appropriate solution." To apply your knowledge and skills within a non-routine but familiar context. " To apply a range of techniques in a number of applications to produce an appropriate outcome (Word / Excel / Access / Internet & email)" To solve problems that are essentially instructor/ tutor guided demonstrating the confidence to make informed choices and knowing when to seek guidance.You do not need any knowledge skills or prior qualifications but you must have basic computer skills. You will gain a qualification.You will learn via tutor led classroom sessions & homework.You Will have to do some studying at home. If you need any extra help on the course then additional support will be available to all learners with a disclosed disability learning difficulty or language support.
