The course aims to provide a board-based approach to the art and design sector; with mandatory units in 2D and 3D Visual Communication; Contextual References in Art and Design; Exploring and Developing Ideas and Producing Art and Design Outcomes. Learners will have the opportunity to acquire and develop visual communication skills and techniques using a wide range of media and materials. There are also opportunities to develop skills within specialist areas of art and design; such as Textiles and Graphics.
