This course is for students who want to work in junior managerial positions in the sport industry, become sports coaches, or who wish to progress into Higher Education in a degree related to sport. Our courses have been developed to meet the expanding employment opportunities within the industry including: health and fitness facilities, coaching/teaching, professional sport and performance.This course runs alongside our Sports Performance Academies, for those who have a talent for football. A 'work hard play hard' ethos is expected of all students and a balanced approach to the sporting/academic demands of the programme is essential. Our Football Academy is run by qualified, highly respected and well-known professional coaches. We have developed a unique training programme which includes specialist advice on nutritional, sports therapy, sports psychology and skills development. Football Academy (Men's) Competitive fixtures mean that students must be under 19 at the start of the course.Football Academy (Men's) places are subject to maintaining the required academic standard.
