This course accommodates young people who have challenges/barriers to entering education, employment or training at Level 1.The programme aims to provide a broad learning experience with the development of the personal and social skills you need to access employment. For those learners who have successfully completed our work skills programme or are more work placement orientated, this qualification allows the learner to enhance their employability skills further through a two day work placement for the full 36 week course. Learners will also attend college for 1 day per week for tutorial support and to complete either functional skills or GCSE English and Maths, dependent on prior achievements.
