There are three pathways to choose from on this course: information systems; sales and marketing; and small business enterprise. Whichever pathway you decide on, the core modules you'll study include: · developing business skills · business liability · managing communications · marketing tools · business finance · employment law · work placement (May to July) · human resources management · business decision-making · research project · management and leadership Your specialist modules on this information systems pathway will include: · project management · business information systems Your final year research project will allow you to combine many of the skills you will have developed to produce findings about an area of particular interest to you. This will help with your progression if you decide to move on to a top-up degree after successful completing this course. You'll get the opportunity to complete an industrial placement in your first year. You'll need to arrange this by February of the first year.
