This one year course covers a whole variety of principles and techniques in fashion and design, helping you to explore your interests and talents, whilst giving you broad skills across a range of methods.   Term 1 - Award in Art and Design  The first term provides an opportunity to explore your interest in art and design using various materials, methods and processes that support many art and design activities to include: • Drawing • Pattern and texture • Colour work • Exploration of ideas  Term 2 - full diploma  The full diploma will complete your course enabling you to build your skills, knowledge and understanding acquired through the Award. The course will provide skills and knowledge the following:  • Design • Textiles • Styling • Garment construction  This course is accredited by the University of the Arts London Awarding Body.
