The course has a variety of units to progress your skills into management. ncn works in partnership with Capital FM Arena, which will offer real working opportunities in areas such as: catering, crewing, event set-up, event management and front of house hospitality. As part of the course you may even get to manage a full scale event at the Arena. Units you will study include: - Lead a team to improve customer service - Develop productive working relationships with colleagues - Provide leadership for your team - Contribute to the control of resources - Maintain the health, hygiene, safety and security of the working environment. - You will also choose a number of optional units from a wide range that includes: - Supervise reception services - Provide learning opportunities for colleagues - Contribute to the development of a wine list - Contribute to promoting hospitality services and products. In the last two years our catering and hospitality students have met and learnt from: Jamie Oliver, Marco Pierre White and Sat Bains.
