On this focused and informative course we will learn drawing and painting a portrait from a studio model. We will learn new techniques for depicting proportion and construction of features as well as creating a finished portrait in oils on canvas. Acrylics may also be used, or the learner may learn to draw the model for the duration of the course. Learning will be supported by demonstration and factsheets and one to one tuition, enabling you to progress with confidence toward a finished portrait.
