The course provides an introduction to human biology for people who havent studied the subject before (or not for a long time). It explores human cells, blood, the circulatory system and digestion. The course would be useful for anyone interested in science, nursing or social care; it would also be invaluable for anyone considering Access to Higher Education. There will be an opportunity to complete work leading to accreditation over the duration of the course.
