The course is designed for learners who work in or wish to pursue a career in hairdressing, it will provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge that prove occupational competence as a junior stylist. You will learn, develop and practice the skills required to provide hairdressing services for all hair types; covering a range of skills and knowledge such as cutting, drying, styling, colouring and lightening, as well as shampooing and consulting with clients. Learners may progress to employment and/or to the following City & Guilds qualification: Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Hairdressing or Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Barbering
