Apprentices will learn on the job in the work environment, or in the classroom with realistic situations and appliances. This apprenticeship provides apprentices with the regulation knowledge, practical skills and the science required to undertake gas work. The apprenticeship covers relevant theory and practical-based gas training. The apprenticeship will also provide an understanding of the health and safety requirements governing gas processes and knowledge of the organisation and structure of the gas industry.
