Course aimsTo develop the skills to produce a variety of wired flower paste spring flowers. Produce a celebration cake decorated with a posy or spray of sugar crafted flowers.Learning outcomes:By the end of the course students will be able to:· Produce a variety of flower paste spring flowers such as daffodils daisies carnations roses and crocuses.· Make flower paste leaves.· Produce simple filler flowers.· Wire the flowers together in a posy or spray.· Coat a celebration cake with sugarpaste and decorate with the wired flowers. Who is the course for?Students who have completed a previous cake decorating course or who have a keen interest in cake decorating and flower making or those who have already produced some decorated cakes but would like to improve their skills further.
