Course aims:This course is for beginners and those with some experience of dress making customising or accessorising garments and will cover a broad range of topics to match the ability of the learner. The course will give learners an introduction to basic sewing and construction techniques which will enable learners to construct their own garment and accessorise it. Learning outcomes:By the end of each course learners will be able to:• Use sewing equipment safely.• Gain knowledge of basic sewing and construction techniques. • Create a garment of choice.• How to accessorise a garment.Who is the course for?This course is suitable for those who are new to sewing and wish to develop confidence and skills in using sewing machinery to create their own garment.
