Name: Welding (Level 1) Qualification title: Award in Introductory Metal Inert Gas (MIG) Welding (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment There will be continuous assessment of each unit. You will show evidence of competence through five practical assessments for each unit and a 15 question oral exam for each unit. As part of your programme you will need to complete two days of work experience each academic year in your subject area. You will have to find the placement and keep a log book for reference.
