Website Design & Creation - Introduction (Intensive)

This course is designed for those of you who aspire to being web designers or would like to learn the skills to produce your own website by producing webpages from scratch. So if you want an intensive course to help develop your career or simply promote your ideas and interests using a website this a course for you.This 2 week intensive course introduces you to the principles of web design as well as using the basic technical skills to get started with producing a website. The topics covered are: Domain names and hosting (uploading) a website An introduction to the NEW HTML 5 programming language Introduction to Dreamweaver and its environment Layout and create a simple web page structure Add images and text to a webpage Create links to email and linking web pages Learn how to style a webpage in CSS (styling language) Using the home page as a template
