On this course you will be introduced to the Italic style of writing. All materials are included in the course fee. By the end of the course you will be able to: Describe the history of the alphabet Assemble and use a basic calligraphy pen Describe the characteristics of Italic letters Write the Italic alphabet in lower case letters Complete a small project using this style of writing Use your skills for future projects This course is suitable for beginners or those who have done calligraphy before and wish to improve or practise their skills. All materials will be supplied by the tutor. You may bring an apron if you wish.
