Indian Picnic Food for Summer

Have you ever wanted to learn how to cook authentic Indian food? Learn about the different spices and herbs used in Indian cooking. Get involved in learning how to cook 3 tasty authentic Indian dishes for a picnic and enjoy eating it afterwards/take home. Week 1 - making vegetable samosas. Week 2 - making pakoras and aloo paranthas. Ingredients are included in the course fee and supplied by the tutor. All 3 dishes for both sessions are made up of vegetarian food and are suitable for nut allergy sufferers however not gluten free. By the end of the course you will be able to: Name 3 ingredients used to make the Vegetable samosa filling. Name the flour used to make Pakoras. Name 2 accompaniments to an Aloo parantha. Use the recipe provided to make Vegetable samosas. Use the recipe provided to make the starter Pakoras. Use the recipe provided to make Aloo paranthas.</lu> This course is suitable for beginners with no cooking experience. An apron and 2 small plastic containers each week. text17 There is no formal qualification for this Community Learning course.
