This qualification is suitable for individuals who are interested in developing knowledge and skills working in a food and beverage service environment. The qualification is suitable for food service individuals and individuals working operating in bar/ drink service roles. This qualification is made up of four core mandatory units and three optional, enabling individuals to select areas of development most suitable to the role and development needs.

Name: Intermediate Apprenticeship in Food and Beverage Service Qualification title: NVQ Diploma in Food and Beverage Service (QCF) Qualification type: NVQ and relevant components Assessment Apprenticeship Assessors / Tutors will deliver monthly learning and assessment visits within the work place with visit duration of 1 ½ - 2 hours per month or more frequent where required to meet the needs of each individual. All learners to undergo relevant on and off the job training with the employer and to undertake additional training with Tutors as required. All delivery will take place on the employer’s premises unless otherwise agreed. Teaching and assessments methods include a range of knowledge and learning sessions, on the job observations, off the job knowledge assessment, collection of learning evidence, assignments and assessments.
