A highly interactive programme designed for negotiators with existing experience who need a deeper understanding of negotiation to deal with challenging customers. Apprentices will have their capabilities broadened and stretched through challenging real life situations, a multiparty negotiation, and exercises with no obvious win-win solutions. Continuing the emphasis on practice from the Essential Negotiation course, there is even more interaction with fellow apprentices and the facilitators, who will use their extensive experience to deliver real-life and challenging exercises. The programme comprehensively covers the following areas * In depth preparation using KALEIDOSCOPIC methodology * Exploring language and its role within negotiations * Determining balance of power and equipping apprentices with techniques to affect it including pre-conditioning and alignment * Review and highlight importance of behaviour and language within negotiation * Introduction to multi-party negotiations * Effective link back to using the knowledge day to day In addition, the programme will contain a competitive element in all negotiations. This will be done in a supportive way but will ensure apprentices feel the realistic pressure of commercial negotiations.
