Preparing to work in home based childcare (Childminding)

This qualification is required by Ofsted to work as a childminder, also suitable for au pairs, nannies and childminding assistants. The course is made up of 2 units, Unit 1 provides the knowledge to work with children in a home based setting; Unit 2 prepares learners to set up a home based childcare business. We offer this course in small groups face to face once a month over three months or online as e-learning. Assessor support is available as needed with both options. It is possible to complete the course in 2 weeks.
