This six week course is designed for all amateur gardeners wanting to get more out of their outside spaces. Over the duration of the course you will learn the basic skills and knowledge to put together a simple set of garden design plans, putting these skills into practice by designing a border or island bed. You will study the following: * The use of colour. * Exploring plant hunters and garden designers. * Designing perennial borders and island beds. * Putting a simple set of plans together. * The use of different media and drawing techniques.
