HAIRDRESSING - LEVEL 3

This course will provide you with knowledge on the underlying principles of major hairdressing services and practical skills required to successfully carry out these services. The course is suitable for anyone who would like a career in the hairdressing industry and has achieved a Level 2 NVQ in Hairdressing or Barbering. You will study advanced units in the following: * Promotional Activities * Health and Safety * Consultation * Promote Services and Products * Creatively Cut Hair * Colour Hair * Creatively Style and Dress Hair * Hair Extensions * Colour Correction * Hair show, competitions or a photo-shoot * Work placements All LMC students will receive tutorial support. All students aged 16 -19 are required to study Functional English and maths qualifications or GCSE Maths, English if not already awarded a C/4 or higher in these subjects. Students aged 19+ are strongly encouraged to take relevant maths and English qualifications to support progression into Further or Higher education, training or employment.
