By the end of the course you will be able to speak basic German as well as understand spoken and written German in simple situations. You will be able to write basic sentences in German. In short you will be able to cope in every day situations, whether in for leisure, travel or work and the fundamental elements of grammar will have been taught. You will cover a range of situations, for example: Booking in to a hotel Shopping Ordering meals in a restaurant Introducing yourself in a formal or informal environment Buying train/bus tickets and understanding the timetables Reading and answering simple emails and letters Finding your way around town
