UPDATED 20170110 15:26:10

To be successful in this exciting yet competitive industry, it is essential to have experience in as many performance areas as possible to ensure that you develop into a confident and versatile practitioner. Throughout this course you will cover all aspects of performing arts from performance and production to professional practice and management. You will study performance in three strands: work, knowledge and skills focusing on independent and group research, how theatre companies work, copyright, acting and movement techniques, as well as dance and singing skills enabling you to enhance your performance repertoire. There is a strong element of practical work where you will have the benefit of having access to the College's Theatre, Dance and Performance Studios and be able to work alongside the Stagecraft Department. The College maintains excellent links with local and national theatres, creating opportunities for you to experience the reality of on-stage performance and allowing you to develop your collaborative and multi-disciplinary approaches to creative work.
