UPDATED 20170110 15:26:08

Carpenters and joiners are skilled crafts persons who make and install a wide range of wooden products and structures. You will learn a variety of skills in either Site Carpentry; which deals with the installation of floorboards, doors, window frames and roof trusses on both domestic and commercial buildings or Bench Joinery; which is the production of specialist items such as retail counters, bespoke kitchens, specialist windows and staircases. You will learn how to use both hand and power tools to create and finish products to a high standard. A combination of workplace and College-based assessment. The apprentice will need to be in employment in the industry.
