H&S Care AS Level

The qualifications in Health and Social Care are related to health, law, teaching/managerial roles in the NHS and environmental health. They offer students a choice of routes into Higher Education and employment. There is a very enthusiastic and caring atmosphere in the department and personal tutorials are regularly available to all students. There is an excellent range of relevant and up-to-date resources including persona, anatomical and virtual reality dolls. Assessment is a combination of external tests and coursework. AS Level you will complete one external assessment and two pieces of coursework and you will study Communication in Care Settings, Promoting Good Health and Promoting Quality Care.
