Functional Skills qualification in Mathematics at Level 1 (C&G)

Our Functional Skills qualifications support learners as they seek to improve their literacy, numeracy and ICT skills. We offer Functional Skills Mathematics qualifications at all five levels: Entry 1, Entry 2, Entry 3, Level 1 and Level 2. These qualifications will increase the candidates’ confidence and motivation, and the skills they gain will be valuable in the workplace or in any further learning. Being able to communicate effectively, use numbers successfully and make good use of technology is essential to almost every aspect of life, work and learning. Our Functional Skills qualification in Mathematics enable learners to apply numeracy and practical mathematical skills in both their personal and professional lives, equipping learners with the fundamental applied skills needed to succeed in all aspects of life, work and other learning. Our Maths Level 1 course will assess the candidates’ ability to represent, analyse and interpret problems that involve the use of mathematics. Being able to use numbers confidently, particularly the ability to apply these skills to a variety of situations, is crucial no matter where or how learners plan to progress after achieving these qualifications.
