Description of Course: This course is designed for those that would like to enhance their minute taking skills in order that they can take useful and purposeful minutes within a variety of settings. Aims of Course: A short introductory course aimed at assisting individuals to learn and practise the methodology of minute taking. Learning Outcomes: 1. Know the role of the minute taker and its restrictions/expectations 2. Know the relationship between agenda and minutes and consider the Standards for Minute Taking in order that appropriate and effective minutes can be taken 3. Practice minute taking using a variety of resources and scenarios to enhance skills and expertise
