The course will develop your reading, writing, speaking and listening skills in English incorporating materials and activities from the approved Citizenship syllabus. The course starts in September but you can join at a number of points throughout the year. You will have access to the College computer network and your own e-mail account.The staff are highly experienced and caring and the College offers an excellent tutorial system so there are always people willing and ready to give practical help and advice.You will sit an Ascentis Skills for Life (ESOL) exam at the end of the academic year. Regular written reports are available for those who require them for their employers or sponsors.The ESOL department organises a varied social programme which you can take part in. It includes visits to the theatre, museums and excursions to places of local and national interest.
