Intermediate Level Apprenticeship in Retail

This Apprenticeship covers all the basics of Retail. As a Retail apprentice, you'll work as a Sales Assistant, Customer Service Assistant or Stockroom Assistant. Duties are likely to include helping customers to choose products, dealing with customer queries and processing payments in a range of retail environments, helping to provide a positive and 'seamless' service, or handling stock and deliveries, receiving, storing, and picking stock for the sales floor. You'll study topics such the principles of retail, displaying stock and processing payments. On this Apprenticeship you'll spend a lot of time in a customer facing environment. You will need vast reserves of patience, tact, energy and the ability to communicate with a wide range of customers.
