The course will explore the essential skills of coaching and mentoring: listening, questioning, feedback and develop your existing coaching and mentoring skills. The course will define the role of a coach and mentor, discuss the process of coaching and mentoring, explore the ideas and theory of different coaching/mentoring models, and identify the benefits of each model for different coaching/mentoring situations. By the end of this course learners will understand and be able to promote the benefits of learning, give feedback and develop a learning plan whilst considering individual and organisational needs, improve communication and understand body language.
