National Award in Infection Control

This national award is aimed at anyone needing to develop the underpinning knowledge of how to control the spread of infection in their workplace or home environment. This includes giving an increased understanding of the causes of infections, the conditions in which they thrive and the ways that they can be spread. It also covers suitable methods of cleaning and waste disposal that help prevent the spread of infection, along with the personal protective equipment that can be used for own safety.
